        Are you interested in helping to spread the Gospel to the Japanese? We are looking for short-term (2 months to 2 years) and long-term workers with a strong testimony and a love for Jesus Christ.

Church Planters
          The existing churches in our Christar Japan network are looking for full-time church planters to work with them in starting daughter/sister churches in the surrounding areas.

          
Summer Program
Early June to early August - Cost Varies - For Individuals or Teams
        Enjoy the opportunity to make contacts for established church plants as English conversation teachers and build friendships with your students. You will be exposed to the culture and religious life of Japan through language study, a trip to Kyoto, weekly outings, two six-day homestays and weekend participation in national churches. There will be opportunities at outreach events to use your skills in music, drama or sports. Individual mentoring and weekly team prayer and praise times are a priority. This program can be tailored to fit college internship requirements.

English Teaching Program
One to Two Years preferred, shorter lengths possible; Cost: Approximately $1200-$1500 per month.
        H
elp the church-planting efforts of Nijigaoka Christ Church and its branch church, Hirao Christ Church, in rural Japan by building relationships with people of all ages while serving as an English conversation teacher. You will not only teach English, but also assist with a summer day-camp for elementary school students and reach out using your skills in music, art and/or sports. You'll be exposed to the culture and religious life of Japan through language study, regular outings, two homestays and involvement in national churches. In addition, you'll be trained by experienced Christar workers and participate in weekly team prayer meetings.
