The Work
The work of Christar Japan is focused on church planting.
Currently our workers are divided up onto two teams, the Shimobe Team and the Central Team. The Shimobe Team works in Ube and Kudamatsu, while the Central Team works in Hikari (Nijigaoka) and Hirao.
Our churches are part of the Christar Church Association (CCA). The CCA churches meet together regularly for fellowship and study.
Our missionaries also host the annual Friendship English Camp, a 3-4 day English and Bible camp in the mountains for junior and senior high school Japanese students.
