After graduation, he responded to God’s calling in 2011, after the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami by applying Oversea Mission Fellowship (OMF) as a Partnership Missionary. With the chance provided by his wife’s company to live in Tokyo for 2.5 years, he served as a volunteer preacher in a Chinese church in Kita-Senju, Tokyo and helping a Japanese pastor and Japan Campus Crusade for Christ to explore the evangelical ministry in one of the main campus in The university of Tokyo in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. In 2016, his whole family went back to Hong Kong to seek for God’s further calling. He then served as a youth preacher in a mid-scale Evangelical Church and large scale Rhenish Church of Lutheran denomination until his whole family confirming the calling to Japan for long term ministry in 2018.
